“What are your qualifications as a copywriter?”

I earned a B.A. degree in Creative Writing. I also completed a Communications minor to go with it. And I have extensive direct response copywriting training, primarily through AWAI. American Writers and Artists, Inc. is the world’s leading provider of copywriting training.

I continue to keep my skills sharp and up-to-date. Toward that end, I’m a lifetime member of AWAI’s Circle of Success.

“What is your experience in my industry?”

I have an extensive, close, personal relationship with the market. I gained this through over 15 years of experience serving in helping professions. My focus has been on helping people achieve positive life-change. The main driver of this change has been personal development practices and principles. And products. I’ve been a huge consumer and promoter of them.

My years of experience include service as an ordained minister. I did this for over 15 years. I realized early on that the work I was doing with people was based on their humanity, not their faith. And the solutions we were implementing were based on their human nature and abilities. While my work was consistent with their faith, it wasn’t exclusive to it. That realization led to a private life coaching practice of over 10 years. By including people of all faiths and creeds, I was able to serve far more people.

“What kinds of assignments do you handle?”

Some clients need persuasive direct response copywriting. Others need ‘pre-suasive’ response-oriented content pieces. There’s a good chance you need both. Today’s online environment makes a mix of them desirable in many sales promotions. In either case, my focus is on writing to engage and convert your audience into buyers.

Projects can include sales letters, sales funnels, video sales letters, and ‘collateral’ pieces. I write email autoresponder series, opt-in pages, landing pages. “What does it cost to hire you for a project?”

My fees are based on industry standards. The price I quote to you will be based on the specific scope and needs of your particular project. “How long will it take you to write my copy?”

Typically two to three weeks, from rough-draft to final-draft. Your project may be different, though. It depends on size and scope. But you’ll know exactly when to expect delivery after our initial consultation. Writing deadlines are agreed upon in writing before the project begins.

I’m willing to consider quick turnaround projects if you are in a rush. Acceptance of a rush project depends on prior deadline commitments.
